It’s a classifieds website for the surf and snow communities – aimed to compete with Craigslist. The client has a lot of plans for the site going forward and with that in mind, I had to design for growth. I built a WordPress site and included a blog for the client to speak to their users. The site itself is clean and simple. Sidebars include blog feeds and ample room for advertisements going forward. A ‘featured listings’ ticker was added to the site with the idea that the user will eventually pay to have their item displayed there. I will continue to work with the UpNorth team as this project expands. I also designed the logo and recently stickers for UpNorth. The logo was designed with simplicity in mind. I created a unique graphic and used typography to create the clean and mature logo the client was looking for.

They were referred to me by a past client of mine to redesign their website. The site that was in place at the time was convoluted with content that despairingly needed to be organized. The project was unique in that the client needed an e-commerce site to display products, but all transactions would be completed by a sales representative over the phone. I developed a WordPress site for Rasmussen that is clean, easy to use, gives and professional web presence and most importantly, allows the client to do their own updates.
